Welcome To TeenyTyni Childcare! We are so glad to have you here! It is only right that since I will be fortunate enough to get to know your children, that you know a little bit about or founder!

Tynika Mason has always had a heart for working with children. Her love for children has developed and has allowed her the appropriate opportunity to further her studies. She attended post-secondary school where she received high honors in the Early Childhood Education Program and went on to became a Registered Early Childhood Educator. She is currently in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.

Our founder Tynika Mason has many years of experience with working with children. She has volunteered in the children's program at her local church where the ages range from 1-10 years old, as well as has worked in many daycares and several Montessori schools. It is there where they provided insightful activities for the children. Furthermore, she comes from a big family and has older and younger siblings and a niece and nephew who have molded her into the Director that she is today.

Some of her hobbies include: singing, cooking, doing puzzles, and spending time with my family!

Our Programming

At TeenyTyni Childcare we offer unlimited opportunities and methods of teaching and learning. Our environment is focused on the children and their learning environment.  The opportunities we provide are geared at the child’s level with the hopes of building their abilities and each of their skills. We strive to provide an environment that is developmentally appropriate but one that meets the needs of everyone that is placed here. We strive to meet the needs of the families and of the community. Each and every day we follow with the guidelines of How Does Learning Happen (HDLH). The How Does Learning Happen follows the child’s well-being, expression, engagement, and belonging. The curriculum used within the program would be The Emergent Curriculum. Emergent is a collaborative approach to development in which educators and children have active roles in planning. It is based on the interests and need of the children. It is with a warm, nurturing environment, children actively are able to participate in positive, interactive experiences that are based on their life and experiences. Creative programs are put in place to provide children with opportunities for decision -making and growth towards independence and responsibility.
